Donald Trump at Hyatt Regency Burlingame

April 29, 2016

Donald Trump speaks at the California Republican Party convention at the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame, Ca. Just a day before the event, Joan Leone, head of the Republican Women's group in San Francisco, invited me to join a Volunteers Rally at the convention. The rally was done in a smallish room for about 200 volunteers.

I paid nothing to get in to the Volunteers Rally, several others paid for a later VIP meetup or a lunch speech by Donald Trump. I had tried to get in either, but they were signed up by the time I found out about them. Trump's plane came in to SFO from an earlier Costa Mesa speech. There were hundreds of disrupters at the Hyatt, many of whom which attached plastic tubes to their arms so that they could block the streets and entrances. They appeared to be mostly Black Lives Matters people. Secret Service found a back entrance way in to the hotel to avoid the disrupters. I think the police should have arrested the disrupters but someone up high must have told them to let them disrupt.

I personally met several Hispanic volunteers for Trump, one who was born in Mexico City. Hispanics stand to lose the most to illegal aliens who cause lower wages and take jobs from legal Americans. All this occurred on the first day of the convention. I spent most of the next day at the convention, when Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina was to speak. That day, there were zero disrupters and zero police. I did not bother to take any pictures.
