This Rhine Valley cruise started in Boppard, went to Koblenz then back. We joked around on the boat while watching schloss after schloss go by. Koblenz is a modern small city. Boppard is a small tourist town.

Got off the cruise at Bopphard. Coming back later at night, we noticed that hundreds of large cruise ships were parked all over the Rhine. No wonder no one else was eating out. They were all on the Rhine and didn't tell the American tourists. "Rhine in Flames" is a big item that we weren't prepared for. Stayed 1 night in a schloss overlooking the Rhine.
