Meg Whitman, candidate for Governor of California is in the June 2010 Republican primary, appeared for a talk at the Rossmoor in Walnut Creek, Ca. The Rossmoor is a Senior Adult Community for retirement living. It is located in the 1800 acre Tice Valley area of Walnut Creek. Upon driving onto this massive development, I was stopped by a guard at the entrance. There are 6700 residential units spread thoughout the complex.
Rossmoor has 3 enormous clubhouses. Meg spoke at the Dollar Clubhouse to group of about 400 mostly senior adults. There were no apparent news organizations. For the first time, she brought up the subject of targeted taxcuts.
