Flew from Lima to Cusco. Altitude is at 11,200 ft. That did not affect Ron except when moving quickly. Claudette got some headaches. We both took some altitude pills provided by a doctor in California. But we did not do the coca leaves which everyone in Peru seemed addicted to.
Stopped at the Santuario Animal de Ccochahuasi, which is a lot of characters for a Zoo. It had pumas, and llamas and three condors. One of the condors made a short flight from about 100 feet away towards us. An Inca woman made us some corn beer. It was not very tasty. Saksaywaman looked like a fort used to keep evil doers away. The Shaman gave us a Incan religion show. Its mostly about making offerings to some of the many earth and mountain gods. Everybody on the tour participated except Ron.
Visited an art store run by Seminario. There were some interesting items I might have bought but they were very expensive.
