This was the trip that Deanna had waited a year for. Ron and Deanna flew to Eugene where I dropped her off with Carol, Chuck and Natalie Napier. Ron then flew to Chicago and came back to Eugene 5 days later. Natalie and Deanna spent a lot of time with Buddy, which is Natalie's new dog. The Napier house is 4000 sq foot plus and is still in progress. The house has 2 master bedrooms, Natalie is indeed a very appreciated young woman. The air strip is in but the grass on it is waiting to be planted. We went to Oakland, Oregon, a quaint antique laden town, for a very special dinner out.
Natalie talked a local merchant into re-lettering their sign to say Welcome Deanna Surma. Friends like that should never move away!
